Description

Maasai Wandering: Africa is a continent that fascinates with its indigenous culture, landscape and wild nature. It is not for nothing that it calls itself the wild continent. This makes hikes all the more dangerous for people without a car. If you drive from village to village you can see the Maasai wandering around. They move through the villages and trade in the markets. There you usually get provisions for their villages, which are many, many kilometers outside the villages. This photo was taken on the drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro. There was a very long lens on it. Anyone who knows Africa knows how difficult it is to take photos with a telephoto lens from a moving car. Such a hike can take the whole day. You can often see the more modern Maasai working in hotels. What is striking is the mostly red checkered gap between the natives.

This picture is part of the illustrated book "Dancing with the Massai."
